Software Freedom Day 2008 - Stockholm
Well we finally got things organised and ended up having a great day.
We were a group of about 10 people from three different Open Source organisations. The Swedish Linux Society, The Swedish Ubuntu Society and the Sun Microsystems Campus Ambassadors from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology.
We gathered our resources and free handout material and in true Open Source fashion shared our material and handed out each others favourite distros.
We stood in the middle of the town square in Stockholm (Segels Torg), and some of us walk the nearby streets talking to people and even went into Computer shops to handout information and free Live CD’s.

All in all it was a successful day, and hopefully there are a few more people out there now with the knowledge that there is a free alternative regarding software for there computers.
I’d especially like the thank Redhat Sweden for the Fedora 9 Live CD’s they sponsored us with.
Here are some pictures taken by an Ubuntu Society member.
