Got time to start some Christmas shopping,
more to myself really..lol, Just got back
from a free showing of the movie “What
becomes of the broken hearted” a New Zealand
film, actually the second film after “Once
were Warriors”. Many of you have maybe seen
Once were warriors.
Well the second one was more gang orientated
and from what i could see violence of a more
“Hollywood” nature, when compared to the first
film, where it seemed to have more meaning
behind it and much more believable.
In any event it isn’t the actual movie I wanted
to talk about more the reason Sylvia and I ended
up there. Dobedo at chat Site that has its grounds
in both England and Sweden, its a Island and once
you entered the chat area with a figure of a head
as your identity you move your way around the
island talking to people, simple enough eh.
Well after signing up and trying a few times as
most things on the net I never sent back much,
last week received a Mail from them at Dobedo
saying they had were going to show this new movie
just a week after its premier at Stockholm’s
Film Festival. So after going to get my free
tickets by just printing out the mail and going
to the movie theatre we turned up there today.
Strange feeling in the movie theatre at the
beginning as the seats filled up and unusually
people where turning in the seats to look at
every one who came into the theatre…..wondering
I guess as I was…..who where these people and
had I myself talked to them on the Dobedo Island.
This was as I said to Sylvia a interesting
phenomenon…maybe not the right word but
certainly an occasion was definitely different.
